ASOR is pleased to announce the Student Paper Award. This award is conferred upon the author(s) of a paper presented during the Annual Meeting that conveys the results of a study about ancient Near Eastern and wider Mediterranean societies in a clear, understandable and convincing fashion. The first author and presenter of the paper must be a registered student at the time of presentation in order to be eligible for consideration for this award. Students will need to complete the following steps to be considered for the award. Applications are due October 23.
Students and Early Career Scholars at the 2019 Annual Meeting
1. Please complete Google Form in order to apply for the Student Paper Award.
2. Submit your pre-recorded paper by October 23 via the Presentation Submission Form on ASOR’s Virtual Annual Meeting website.
Applications and Papers are both due by October 23.
Please note that this award is independent of the Sean Dever Memorial Prize, which is conferred by the W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research.
