In order to further support ASOR’s Student and Early Career Members, we are giving away up to 100 copies of Volume III of Seymour Gitin’s The Ancient Pottery of Israel and Its Neighbors from the Middle Bronze Age through the Late Bronze Age. This volume is an outstanding resource—indeed, many are calling the three-volume set “new Ceramic Bible.”
This special offer is made possible by five anonymous donors who have made contributions so that Undergraduate, Graduate, and Early Career Members of ASOR can receive this amazing volume for free. Because we anticipate that more than 100 eligible people will want to claim this resource, we are asking eligible members to complete a Google form by July 5, 2019, to be entered in a lottery. ASOR will select up to 100 members at random, and we will have the Israel Exploration Society ship the sets to the recipients by surface mail. The exact number of recipients will depend on donations received. At least 60 copies will be given away, and we hope to distribute 100 copies.

Please do not hesitate to contact Felice at the ASOR office (703-789-9230) if you have any questions. Again, please submit your entry before July 5th.
Do you want to help extend this offer to more people or to help support ASOR’s initiatives that benefit students and early career scholars? Then please consider making a gift to support our programs. All gifts made before December 31, 2019, will also help ASOR qualify for the second part of an extraordinary $450,000 matching gift. Click here to make an online contribution.
