Dear Colleagues,<br>

We are welcoming submissions to Rosetta Issue 31.<br>
<br>
Rosetta is a peer-reviewed journal for postgraduate students<br>
and early career researchers, based out of the Department<br>
of Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology at the<br>
University of Birmingham.<br>
<br>
We are now accepting submissions of articles (up to<br>
10,000 words, including footnotes) and book reviews<br>
(up to 2,000 words) from postgraduate students and<br>
early career researchers from any institution for our<br>
next issue of Rosetta. We accept submissions relating<br>
to any aspect of the ancient world up to and including<br>
late antiquity, including but not limited to:<br>
<br>
* Assyriology and Egyptology<br>
* Ancient History and Classics<br>
* Archaeology and Visual and Spatial Technologies<br>
* Classical Reception<br>
* Conservation and Museum Studies<br>
* Heritage Management<br>
<br>
In addition, we encourage the submission of short pieces<br>
such as museum or conference reports, archaeological<br>
summaries, relevant theatre or film reviews, ancient<br>
world-themed creative writing, and academic notes.<br>
<br>
Book reviews should be of books published within the<br>
last two years. If there are books you would like to<br>
review but cannot access, please email us and we can<br>
try to arrange a copy through the publisher. Your<br>
review must be completed in time for the submission<br>
deadline.<br>

The deadline for submissions is Friday January 9, 2025.<br>
Please note that all article submissions require an<br>
abstract (max. 300 words), and all submissions must<br>
follow the Rosetta style guide, which can be found<br>
at <a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="https://rosetta.bham.ac.uk/submission-requirements/"><https://rosetta.bham.ac.uk/submission-requirements/></a>.<br>
